If you're going to send people emails that include death threats, you shouldn't use your real name and email address.
Sincerely,
Fake Scott McCloud
(BTW: Before readers here get all Google-y, no this isn't the guy who's playing sax for Bette Midler.)

What?
someone threatened you? over a comic strip? wow, I hope he doesnt get confused with the real scott mccloud. He doesnt seem too bright.
That sounds like a horrible kind of letter to receive. I hope it wasn't too upsetting. And I agree with above that the guy is probably just an idiot -- or crazy. Don't let it phase you.
Matthew L. and your ilk.,
Take note: THESE are the people that need to get a life. Threatening someone's life over the criticism of a webcomic, what a loser, someone needs to wipe his genetic pool off the face of the earth.
But it would be funny if it was the Robert Mader the deceased auctioneer.
Is it the Robert Mader from Nova Scotia, I never thought to trust canadians :)Publish the email and let us sign him up for porn sites FSM.
No, it's none of the Robert Maders in the Google results. I found him through Googling his email address.
Wow some people take this too seriously. It's just a comic. I don't think Scott would want anyone killed or threatened.
scott McCloud or Scott Kurtz?
or SCOTT BAIO?!?!?!?!?
Scott Bakula.
This is funny, but sadly I must assume it is not the "right" Robert Mader.
Since I'm assuming the one we're talking about is neither successful nor foreign, I might have found him. But prolly not (If TFSM says we can't find him on Google with just his name).
Scott Stapp!?!?!?
Re: Scott Stapp
I wouldn't put it past that son of a bitch. Watch your ass FSM!
@ Sage:
"Threatening someone's life over the criticism of a webcomic, what a loser, someone needs to wipe his genetic pool off the face of the earth."
I find the irony of that statement amusing.
@ anonymus
I meant that he should not allowed to breed not that we should take a shotgun to him and his family. Nowhere did I threaten physical violence. But i am glad i provided an unintentional chuckle :)
also the fact that I have to write @anonymus, meaning im talking to a specific anonymus person is ironic or at least oximoronic.
Register a name you hippie! :)
Okay, what I find vaguely worrying is that someone e-mailed a death threat to the author of a blog that criticises a webcomic about the staff of a gaming magazine. At least if whoever it was did kill you, it might take things out of the virtual world (nothing personal FSM).
Oh yeah, the death threat is kinda worrying too. I suggest a kevlar jacket and a good bodyguard :)

This is libelous, unless you know the specific Robert Mader, don't go posting comments like this as it slanders all of us.
