A quick recap.

So, I was away a few days, and missed not very much as it turns out:

Friday (He's Comin' Right For Us): Brent accidentally shoots Cole with paintballs.

Monday (That'll Leave a Mark): Miranda accidentally shoots Francis with paintballs.

Can't wait for Tuesday.

BTW, from now on when I miss a day, or have nothing to say, I'll try to create open threads, a la Daily Kos, so folks have somewhere to talk about the latest strip.

Haha. Well put FSM. I award you 5 internets.

Great insight Mr. Snarkypants. Your comments about the artwork was spot on, and I'm sure PvP will be invigorated by your critiquing skills. Oh wait, That added absolutely nothing to the internets. Way to be.

I agree with anonymous, I wonder who'll get shot tomorrow.

Anonymous is right! All hail Anonymous!

No way, anonymous is totally off-base.

I don't like the way Miranda's eyes were drawn all squinty. It looked like she'd been stung by a bee and was swelling up.

Actually, I have to tip my hat to Scott for drawing Skull in the classic "Bigfoot Photo" pose.

Other than that, meh.

But if brent could see skull, and cole wasnt in the way when he saw him, how did he end up shooting cole?

I don't even understand what Anonymous is talking about anymore.

1) I think it's unfair to give Scott a hard time about having two strips in a row with someone getting hit with paintballs after complaining that the paintball storyline cut off without anyone shooting each other.
However, TFSM's post did make me chuckle a bit, and using ::wrong person getting hit with paintballs:: two strips in a row as the punchline is a bit lacking on the creativity.

2) Maybe it's time to lock out anonymous posters to this blog, no? It's very rare an anonymous poster has something productive to say. And if they do, the signup process takes like... a minute. But maybe it will discourage some of the worthless postings here, and the anonymous posters having conversations with themselves.

I kind of liked the last few strips, despite the copied punchline, because the story is moving along and I'm interested to see how it continues (which hasn't happened in a while).

In "That'll leave a mark", 2nd panel - I get what Miranda is doing with her eyes, but shouldn't the pupils be showing? Like this it looks like she's getting into some spooky trance, while she is presumably squinting to see better.

Similar problem with "ghosts", last panel. I can't see Francis' pupils properly (just a hint that they are rolled up), which makes me a bit unsure and detracts from an otherwise imho good strip.

I'm actually wondering when Scott will make more toys. I want a plush Panda Attack Panda.

Or a "cracked out" Skull plushie.

screw that, i want a plush skott kurtz. you could quickly dip it in water and then it will be slightly moist, just like the real Skott. hell, they could reuse the material for skull, just make a new head and dye it a different colour.

yeah locking out the anonymus would be good, after that last brilliant comment.

Hell, its not even funny

I was anonymous second from the top (I forgot I could use my google account). Anyway, I like to come here and see legitimate critiquing of PvP, but it's annoying when all that FSM posts is some lame inference of the strip sucking. Some of Scott's strips aren't particularly funny, and yes some of his strips out right suck, but I don't expect any comic to be laugh out loud funny every time, especially on a strip a day schedule. Hell, even PA or xkcd (both of which I love) aren't funny all of the time, and they don't update as often. I guess I just feel that for a site to focus on legitimately critiquing something, don't cop out and post bullshit "analysis" in its place.
