We Are Not Alone

Check out Orange Crate Art for the ultimate in nitpick criticism of Hi & Lois.

Yes, it looks like siphoning the joy out of everything fun in the world through empty analysis of insignificant minutia is really catching on! Get in on the ground floor, pedantic know-it-alls...

Now is your time to shine!

Haha, man, that site is far funnier than the comic itself.

Hey Paul, guess what, entertainment is entertainment (ie: in the eyes of the entertained) and if people find analysis of crappy webcomics (or newspaper comics, in that case) funnier and more entertaining than the actual product, then SO BE IT. No amout of whining on your part is likely to change this.

Siphoning the joy out!? Hardly, it's bringing joy where once there was only shallow mediocrity!

I would agree that the site is far funnier than the comic it's dedicated to, but probably for different reasons!

This sword has two edges!

To attack Orange Crate Art is to defend Hi and Lois, and you don't want to be seen defending Hi and Lois, now do you, Paul?

It's a risk I'm willing to take!

Seriously though, if that dude can't tell the difference between cartoon sweat droplets and fish hooks embedded in a door (wtf?), then he probably shouldn't be picking them apart.

Even "Hi & Lois" doesn't deserve to be subjected to such douchebaggery. Isn't it enough that it's not funny? Do we really need to be delving into the minute details of the artwork like this?

Seems unnecessary.

Yes, I don't see how humor could be one of life's necessities. That would be a terrible argument. However, I do hear that a great number of people enjoy humor - despite its often-frivolous nature.

I guess Paul Southworth hate's MST3K also? And the Comics Curmudgeon? What a downer, man.

I hate putting an apostrophe in hates.

No, E. Williams; they're funny!

There's a huge difference between a loving send-up and what goes on here, dude. And I... I just don't have the energy to explain it to you.

I'm sorry.
