Good story, good art.
PVP is not making me sad right now. I feel like we're rushing through the current storyline and missing some exciting (and possibly melodramatic) opportunities, but whatever. Today's strip is great (The Greater Good), as was yesterday's (Stay).
I really like Brent here:

Jade is either pregnant or gets pregnant "tonight". Skull gets reassigned to the baby and is allowed to start hanging out early. Like, "tomorrow".
I was thinking Skull gets assigned to Scratch.
I'm thinking Brent will lose this one, be sad and dejected only to find Skull immediately behind him, attached to Francis.
I'm guessing the Jade is pregnant solution, too. Seems the most predictable, therefore the most likely.

Is anyone else put off by a golf club cleaving through marble? Dramatic license aside, it managed to pull me out of the scene.
I would have been put off if the golf club had cleaved through the marble. But since he clearly knocked the head off of the stature using the golf club as a bat I am fine with it.
I am seeing a pop culture reference coming up i think, but since its pretty good, Im not going to reveal what I think it is till its over.
I am pleased by both the art and the timeliness of this weeks strips.
As long as we're guessing, here's mine. This was a test, Brent 'proved himself' and Skull gets to stay. ;-)
Brent just proved he's still capable of lashing out in a primitive immature way and thus Skull has to stayyyy just a little bit loooonnngeeeer....
I would have gone for Skull being reassigned to Francis. But then, I suppose if Brent really was completely mature and stable, PvP wouldn't be as fun!
Brent? He's obviously not all grown up and together. He just clubbed the head off a statue. There's your out. Maturity be gone, Skull be not.
Incidentally, for all the people (and Scott. and Scott's Dad) who complain about lack of timeliness with PVP and PVP special projects on occasion:

Having been a long time Megatokyo reader, it's really hard to see what the fuss is about with Scott's occasional late strips.

the only thing that bothers me about this story is the old English. Why did the statue guy stop following the changes in language at that point? It's like everyone using old English in reference to God just because they use a really old Bible translation. it's pretty irritating.

I wish PvP was still a humor comic. I'd mention this at the PvP forums but there's no point, since I'd be shouted down. Oh well.
