I have no problem with fart jokes, when they're done cleverly. This is definitely one of those times. I kind of wish Francis had his own Djork "costume" though.
An (almost) perfect week of comics that have made me quite un-sad.
The best PvP-enhancing prosthetic around.

I have to say that the art in Panel 1 blew me away! The angle as extremely dynamic- it really gives it that "rock video" feel... but I also love the way Cole and Francis are standing. That is exactly how my friends and I look when playing rock band! Standing, totally laid back, and the singer with one hand in his pocket!
Cole in a bandana... just... just awesome!
Skull's face for the "that would be me" line is just a little too serious for me. I miss the sheepish grin he used to have when he cut wind in the past. Has he become that jaded by his time away from PVP?
Detail on the guitar controller in panel 4 makes me smile... but the fog is too... understated for me. Needs a little more shading to make it look billowy and draw the eye to it easier. When I first read the line I was like "fog... what fo... Ohhhhhh- that fog."
Panel 1 wallpaper FTW!!!

...'cept the creases occasionally make his emotion signal (nee eyebrows) vanish from time to time.
that was probably the funniest PvP in 5 years.
Very good art, clean lines, I would have liked the Francis costume but all the characters were drawn great, sorry if I am copying randy. Also, the background in the first panel is great as you can tell where the hell they are instead of a stark background (its likely a house, but an office with a couch is an awesome place to work) that just fleshes out everything nicely.
Btw this week of one-off strips, well lets say its the exact OPPOSITE of how our economy is functioning
I love that Skull wears a wife-beater whilst drumming.
Wow, the characters have legs.
I never knew that!
This week will go down as one of the best in years for PvP.
What I don't get is why Cole is singing with a hand in his pocket. Do people usually sing with their unused hand in their pocket?
I've actually done that, the singular time I played rock-bad. You're not really doing anything else with your other hand (aside from throwing up the horns, depending on the song).
I too have sung (on stage!) with my spare hand in my pocket. I still managed to rock the audience's faces off.
Oh, okay. Color me ignorant, then! Thanks, guys. :)
