Right now I'm muddling through Fallout 3 an hour at a time, sometimes more, and I am enjoying it thoroughly. I was wondering what games should I look forward to coming out, since I don't have a good ear to the ground with these things?
The ones I am looking out for:
1) Champions Online - I enjoyed City of Heroes and I'm intrigued to see what this game does on Xbox 360.
2) DC Universe Online - See above. I like the fact that DC writers are taking part in this game and the screenshots look great.
3) Star Wars: The Old Republic: I played Star Wars Galaxies when it first came out and the problems in the game, plus overall boredom, had me leave. The trailers and screenshots look great, Bioware looks to have a good handle on the game, and some of the game mechanics are interesting.
Edit: E A G L E S EAGLES!

Have you tried "Left for Dead"?
Ive heard its good but I have a limited time for games. I'm planning on moving from Fallout to something else and wanted to see if anything on the horizon.
If not Left for Dead is a good candidate.
Also, FFXIII is a game Im looking forward to.
Fallout 3 is excellent! It was a little rough starting out, but now that I have some decent equipment it's much smoother. I'm probably about 1/3 the way through the main storyline.
I played through both Gears of War games and Fable 2 over the holidays, also excellent games.
Now it's back to Bioshock, Assassins Creed and GTA4 which I started last year but kinda lost interest in for whatever reason.
It's all about Street Fighter IV for me.
And yes, Left 4 Dead is an amazingly fun title.
Fallout 3 and Left 4 Dead are both great games...I've also been enjoying Mass Effect recently, now that it is finally out on Steam.
If Dragon Age truly manages to recreate the Baldur's Gate experience for modern hardware, it will likely be the best game we see all year. It's worrying that they plan to port it to consoles, but hopefully the fact that the console ports are coming afterwards means that the interface will be properly optimised for PC. It's becoming too common for games to have unnecessarily clumsy interfaces just because they were designed to deal with a console controller instead of a keyboard and mouse.
yes yes i concur...e-a-g-l-e-s eagles.
