The Eyes Have It
Hey guys, Im skippy out early on work to watch BYU/Texas A&M and UConn/16th seed at the Wachovia Center in Philly, so my review is later
But as a spoiler was the joke in today's strip similar to that in Family Guy?
Seeing if anyone else thought of that.

I don't know, never saw that episode, I guess. I liked the joke though.
It didn't really work for me.
I mean, why would Cole be looking through the phoropter just to compare colour samples? It just stretched the situation a little too far for the sake of a 'what you thought was happening turns out not to be' type of joke.
And to top it all off, Cole is wearing his glasses while doing it.
The only thing worse than that lame title was the comic itself. Unfunny, unclever, and ungood.
I've never seen that Family Guy episode, but this Star Wars episode could be considered to have a bit of a Family Guy influence.
I enjoyed both of them well enough. They are kind of easy gags, but I don't expect even professionals to be constantly spitting out Groucho Marx quality humour.
No it doesn't make sense to look through the vision thingy to compare colours, but the optometrist could have pulled them out as an afterthought when they had just started the test. I don't think it really matters.
The Family Guy episode I recall had Jafar of Disney's "Aladdin" sitting behind a phoropter, while his optometrist keeps making adjustments. (Which lasted an agonizing two and a half minutes, but that's another complaint for another forum.)
Anyway.
Far as I can tell, SK hasn't lifted the joke.
Why is the optometrist spooning Cole? Like, full-on "I'm the big spoon" cuddling. Very weird.
"Aladdin Four: Jafar gets Glasses"
Thank you mina, thats where I saw it from.
It reminded me of the joke, i don't think Scott stole the joke, just to clarify if anyone things that
things = thinks
And that was in the Lois kills Stewie episode
My mind totally went to that FG joke too. So I completely understand where you're coming from.
But I really think FG executed it better.
