Sentencing

The comic.

Isn't aggravated assault specifically using a deadly weapon? At least here in the U.S. anyway.

I saw the punchline coming as soon as I read the first panel. Maybe I just watch too many cartoons, but it seems like a very overused joke. Why not mix things up a bit? Make Cole the Judge figure, or something.

Unfortunately, I don't have much else to say about the strip today.

Are Marcy's boobs a little low down on her chest? I think they are a little too low... makes her torso look overly long.

@The trouble:

At least in that last panel, yeah. Not to mention one seems to have gone missing. Good eye.

Good call talking about the art, the less said about this 'joke' the better.

Also, and I'm not sure on this one...but if somebody has a cracked skull and a mild concussion...shouldn't they be kept awake?

aggravated assault while in many cases means assault with a deadly weapon the common meaning is assualt with intent, threat, and cause of bodily harm. in texas it can be considered without a deadly weapon. after all: "well he beat you up pretty bad, cracked your skull and broke some of your bones up purty bad, but he wasnt usin a deadly weapon so he gets by with simple assault. sorry kiddo."
